Third Higher Vocational College Graduation Ceremony - 2022


The third graduation ceremony of the Higher Vocational College took place on Friday, 1 July 2022 at the Ljubljana Conservatory of Music and Ballet. We awarded 60 diplomas. The ceremony was moderated by Mateja Prokofjev, who first presented a brief history of the school. The musical interludes were performed by the zither player and vocalist Tanja Lončar. The opening speech was given by the Director of the Ljubljana School Centre, Nives Počkar, and the graduates were welcomed by the Principal of the College, Mirjam Založnik, who wished them a successful journey in life and their career. The guest of honour and guest speaker was also a member of the Board of Directors of the Community of Higher Professional Schools, mag. Igor Hanc, Principal of VSŠ Škofja Loka. He stressed the importance of the work of the Community of Higher Vocational Colleges and the link between the colleges and the economy. awarded diplomas to the graduates and a special recognition to the best graduates in both programmes. The best graduate in the Materials Design programme was Tilen Polh, and the best graduate in the Mechatronics programme was MA Staša Sever.


Second Higher Vocational College Graduation Ceremony - 2021


On 22 June 2021, we held the second graduation ceremony for the students of the Higher Vocational College. 78 diplomas were awarded. After a short artistic programme, the Director of the Ljubljana School Centre, Nives Počkar, welcomed everyone and congratulated our graduates for successfully completing their studies in these extraordinary circumstances. A short speech was also given by the Principal of the Higher Vocational College (VSŠ), Mirjam Založnik, who stressed the importance of the work of the Community of Higher Education Institutions and wished the graduates a successful career path. The guest of honour, Alojz Razpet, was the President of the Community of Higher Education Institutions. Special awards were given to the two best graduates in both programmes. We presented them with the book The Treasures of Old Towns - by our lecturer Dr Živa Deu. The President of the Republic of Slovenia, Borut Pahor, was the honorary patron of the book's publication on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the Association of Historic Towns of Slovenia.


First Higher Vocational College Graduation Ceremony - 2019


On 19 June 2019, we held the first Higher Vocational College Graduation Ceremony for students in the Mechatronics and Materials Design programmes. 48 diplomas were awarded. The Director of ŠC Ljubljana, Nives Počkar, gave the opening speech and the students were welcomed by the Principal of the College, Mirjam Založnik. The keynote speaker was the President of the Community of Higher Education Institutions, Alojz Razpet, who outlined the activities of the Community and stressed the importance of higher education for our economy. After the ceremony and the presentation of diplomas, the Multimedia Centre "Experience Europe", which kindly hosted the ceremony, presented the event to the participants.
